Health and Wellness Activities

Health and wellness activities offered at Community College of Philadelphia are designed to raise awareness about health maintenance issues, provide health screenings and provide a convenient venue for community health information for students, staff and faculty. In addition, the activities support the mission of the College by assisting students through health-related events that foster healthy lifestyles, attitudes and behaviors through educational programming and outreach.

5-on-5 Volleyball Tournament

Wednesday April 2 - Thursday, April 3 | Athletics Center | 1 p.m.

Come showcase your volleyball skills at our indoor volleyball tournament. This double elimination tournament will cap off at eight teams, and full teams or individuals are eligible to sign up prior to April 2. Open to Community College of Philadelphia students, faculty, and staff.

Aerobics Classes | Tuesdays and Thursdays | 5:45 to 6:45 p.m.

Join us every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. for aerobics classes in the Aerobics Room on the 2nd floor of the Athletics Center. Experience a holistic, high-quality wellness session designed for all fitness levels. These classes are open to Community College of Philadelphia students, faculty and staff. Don't miss out on a great opportunity to improve your health and well-being!

Yoga Classes | Mondays and Wednesdays | 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.

Join us for yoga classes this semester in the Athletics Center, Room G2-12! Yoga has many positive benefits, such as reduced stress and anxiety, increased flexibility, strength and greater body awareness. Classes are open to the College's students, faculty and staff.
