About This Certificate

This program teaches students how to facilitate restorative processes that empower individuals to take accountability for harm and healing, in contrast with traditional systems that exclude affected people from the process. Students gain both philosophical and practical knowledge to lead harm response circles and community-building conferences in settings like education, law and human services.

The cohort-based program also offers research, volunteering, and mentorship opportunities with restorative justice initiatives in Philadelphia, preparing students to advocate for transformative change.
