MLT 102Phlebotomy4
  1. Proof of completion of a phlebotomy program that consisted of lectures, laboratories, and venipuncture practice (the certificate of completion and a website link of the program with a description of the curriculum, OR it can be a letter from the program on the official letterhead describing the curriculum) within 3 years*,
  2. OR proof of phlebotomy work experience that includes at least 100 venipunctures (VP) (Proof of experience can be a letter from the employer on the official letterhead stating the dates and duties, should include at least 100 Venipunctures) within 3 years*,
  3. OR a current national phlebotomy certificate (proof of renewal and continuing education is required).
*If it is over 3 years old, the students will be required to perform a VP competency on a training phlebotomy arm with MLT102 faculty. The passing score is 75.
