Take your first step toward a new career in a growing field—RSVP for the Transportation Technology open house at Community College of Philadelphia. Join us at our Career and Advanced Technology Center (CATC) and see where you will gain in-demand, hands-on skills necessary for the workforce.

Register for the morning session – 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Register for the afternoon session – 3 to 5 p.m.

You’ll learn about our Transportation Technology degree and certificate programs:

• Automotive Service I and II proficiency certificates – gain entry into independent, dealership or franchise-based repair shops; credits count toward Automotive Technology degree
• Automotive Technology – become a mechanic, shop supervisor or safety inspector
• Medium and Heavy Truck Technology – diagnose and repair diesel trucks, buses, and tractor trailers
• Medium and Heavy Truck Technology I – Inspection, Maintenance and Minor Repair proficiency certificate – learn basic skills to start your career
• Medium and Heavy Truck Technology II – Truck Service Technology proficiency certificate – advanced skills for career entry; credits count toward Medium and Heavy Truck Technology degree
• Toyota T-TEN – earn a degree while working as a paid intern in a Toyota dealership, gaining advanced skills in two years that otherwise takes five years to achieve

Automotive engineering technicians – $54,503
Bus and truck mechanics and diesel engine specialists – $55,900
