The Education and Human Services Pathway Fair

Learn about careers that enable you to care for others.

Join us to explore the Education and Human Services Pathway during this Takeover Week event! Meet faculty, hear from alumni and discover career, academic, and transfer opportunities in fields that focus on helping others. Plus, take advantage of a variety of academic and student support services.

This event will feature information and activities from the following academic programs:

  • Behavioral Health and Human Services
  • Education: Early Childhood (Birth to 4th Grade) & Middle/Secondary Levels
  • Liberal Arts: Social/Behavioral Science
  • Psychology

There will also be refreshments, daily raffles, giveaways and more!

Alumni Panel Discussion – Feb. 11, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Hear former CCP students share their educational and career journeys, and learn about their experiences in the Education and Human Services pathway.

Academic Advising, Transfer Options and Career Connections – Feb. 12, 1 to 2:30 p.m.

Maximize your CCP experience! Get tips on fast-tracking your career and secondary education goals.

Keynote Speaker and Resource Fair – Feb. 13, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Be inspired by our powerful keynote speaker, Deion Sumpter, who will discuss the real-world demands and opportunities of your future profession. Deion currently serves as the deputy director of Violence Prevention Initiatives for the City's Office of Safe Neighborhoods, overseeing all city-based violence prevention programs and strategies. He is responsible for coordinating efforts across various city departments, organizations and community groups to address the root causes of violence and reduce its impact on vulnerable populations. During this event, you can also connect with agency and company representatives for internship and practicum opportunities, and take advantage of academic and student support services available to assist you! Please note that the Resource Fair is in person only.
