Community College of Philadelphia Board of Trustees announces finalists for College president

Each of the four finalists will participate in an hour-long public forum
PHILADELPHIA – The Community College of Philadelphia Board of Trustees has announced four finalists for president of the College.
The finalists are (in alphabetical order):
Lisa Cooper Wilkins, Ed.D., is the vice chancellor for Student Affairs at City College of San Francisco, CA. Previously, Dr. Cooper Wilkins served as the assistant superintendent and vice president of Student Services at San Joaquin Delta College, CA. She earned a Doctor of Education from The George Washington University; a Master of Arts from Marymount University; a Master of Science from Villanova University; and a Bachelor of Arts from Goucher College.
Alycia Marshall, Ph.D., is the interim president of Community College of Philadelphia. Previously, Dr. Marshall served as the provost and vice president for Academic and Student Success at the same institution. She earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics Education from the University of Maryland College Park; a Master of Arts in Teaching from Bowie State University; and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
Jesse Pisors, Ed.D., most recently served as the president of Pasco-Hernando State College, FL. Previously, Dr. Pisors was the vice president for University Relations and Advancement at Texas A&M University–San Antonio, TX. He earned a Doctor of Education from Texas Tech University; a Master of Arts from Oral Roberts University; and a Bachelor of Arts from Oral Roberts University.
Jermaine A. Wright, Ph.D., is the vice president for Student Affairs at Lehman College, NY. Previously, Dr. Wright served as the associate vice president for Student Affairs at Southern Connecticut State University, CT. He earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration from Rutgers University-Newark; a Master of Public Administration from John Jay College of Criminal Justice/CUNY; and a Bachelor of Arts from Binghamton University.
Each candidate will participate in a one-hour community forum. These forums will take place from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 9, 10, 13, and 14 in the Bonnell Building Large Auditorium on the College’s Main Campus, 1700 Spring Garden St., Philadelphia, PA 19130. At each forum, there will be a brief introduction of each candidate, followed by a question-and-answer session.
