A lot has Changed in CCP’s Automotive Technology Program
Today, Jason Barnes is the instructor of Community College of Philadelphia’s Medium and Heavy Truck Technology program. But when he enrolled as a CCP student in the late 90s, the Automotive Technologies program looked very different. There wasn’t even a full-fledged Automotive Technology department back then—the program fell under the Physics department as part of Electrical Technologies.

Community College of Philadelphia is proud to announce that the College’s Nursing program has been recognized as a 2026 Center of Excellence by the National League for Nursing. CCP’s Nursing program is one of 20 nursing schools and programs nationwide to receive this year’s honor.

Diagnostic Medical Imaging Graduates Achieve 100% Examination Pass Rate for 22nd Consecutive Year
This year, Diagnostic Medical Imaging (DMI) students extended a remarkable feat for the 22nd year: achieving a 100 percent first-attempt credentialing examination pass rate. For more than two decades, every student in the program passed the necessary exams within three months of graduating from the program. This accomplishment is the direct result of a collective effort between faculty, staff, clinical partners, and administration working together toward the common goal of student success.
