Admission Events

Visit the Welcome Center

Questions about the admission process or need help applying?  Please visit the Main Campus Welcome Center in the Pavilion Building, located on 17th Street between Spring Garden and Callowhill streets:

  • Monday through Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Friday (late August through early May): 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Summer hours (early May through late August): 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Closed Fridays.

Weekly Information Tours

Information tours are available at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on most Tuesdays at the Main Campus Welcome Center. Please check the current schedule and reserve your space. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are appreciated so we can notify you of any schedule changes. Your visit will include an information session with an admission representative and a general campus tour.

Tours at our Northeast, Northwest and West Regional Centers are available on Ask Admission Days. See the schedule below for dates and times.

Group Tours

If you plan to bring more than four guests, please arrange a group tour by contacting the College recruiter assigned to your school or group. If you do not have an assigned recruiter, please contact Diane Kae. Please provide as much information as possible, including school/organization name and address, your name, title and phone number, number of people in the group, age or grade level, a brief description of the group, and desired dates and times. Our Admissions staff will contact you to arrange your group tour.

Dual Enrollment Pathways at Community College of Philadelphia

We’re proud to support motivated high school students in pursuit of their college degrees.  An information fair about our dual enrollment program and the transition process to complete a transferrable degree will be held throughout the fair.

Benefits of dual enrollment:

  • Earn college credit while still in high school
  • Explore academic and career paths
  • An affordable path to a college degree
  • Enroll in fall, summer and spring sessions
  • Choose from a wide variety of courses offered at our four locations and online

There is no fee to attend but registration is appreciated.

Brief overview presentations repeat at 5:15, 5:45 and 6:15 p.m.  The information fair will be continuous from 5-7 p.m.

  • Will courses or degrees from my home country count

Family members and friends are welcome to attend with you.

Express Enrollment Day

This event is designed for first-time college students who want to enroll in the summer or fall semester classes. Summer classes start May 13th and July 9th; fall classes start September 3rd.  
The earlier you come - the more you can accomplish in this special one-day event. Start in the Welcome Center and get your Priority Pass for access to expedited services for the day.  
Advance in the steps to get you started on your college degree - file your application, satisfy placement, register for classes and file financial aid.  Save even more time by filing your application online prior to the event at www.ccp.edu .
 
Please note: To file your FAFSA at this event it will be much easier if you create an FSA ID in advance of the event. The FSA ID ― a username and password ― has replaced the Federal Student Aid PIN and must be used to log in to certain U.S. Department of Education websites. Your FSA ID confirms your identity when you access your financial aid information and electronically sign Federal Student Aid documents. If you do not already have an FSA ID, you can create one when logging in to fafsa.gov . 
 
If you are under 24 years old you will also need a different valid email address for your parent/s; they need to create a separate FSA ID. 
 
What To Bring
Current PHOTO ID REQUIRED for all participants
 
And if possible, also bring:
Copy of your HS transcript
Copy of SAT or ACT test scores
Your 2016 tax documents for summer registration 
Your 2017 tax documents for fall registration
Your parent’s tax documents if you are under 24

Discover the path to possibilities at Community College of Philadelphia's Northwest Regional Center. We have more than 70 degree and certificate programs for you to choose from, including our exclusive Ophthalmic Technician Certificate and Behavioral Health and Human Services Degree, which can be completed here.
 
Come in and complete your enrollment process to CCP all in one day! This special one-day event will allow you to complete an admission application, take the placement test, complete your FAFSA application, and register for summer and fall 2019 classes.
