Casual Fifth is a Philadelphia-based performing ensemble focusing on Taiko and dance. Casual Fifth is co-directed by Alex Pfister and Mac Evans, who have been doing modern dance and Japanese drumming since 2005. The ensemble is ever-growing and evolving with friends, mentors, and mentees along the way.

We’re inviting you to cheer with us and the Lions as we host a Tournament Selection Show Watch Party on Wed., March 2 at 2 p.m. in the Bonnell Lobby open to the College community. Join us in honoring our college's and nation's veterans this Veterans Day. The College's ceremony will feature a color guard entrance, Pledge of Allegiance and Singing of the National Anthem, a welcome speech by Dr. Generals, veterans remarks, veterans sound off, and closing remarks by Steve Bachovin, coordinator for veterans programming.
Grady’s Garden on 17th Street next to the Bonnell Building
Vetri’s Mobile Teaching Kitchen will be bringing their culinary classroom to Grady’s Garden with hands-on cooking demonstrations for eating healthy at home. We’ll be giving away free vegetables, and we’ll have lots of resources from Philly’s Sankofa and Glover Gardens, along with the College’s Snack Rack Food Pantry, Horticulture Club, Office of Student Engagement and the Center for Student Leadership Development.
