The Middle and Secondary Education Capstone course serves as the culminating field experience and coursework for students in the Education - Middle and Secondary program. This disciplinary capstone course provides students with opportunities to connect coursework to real world experiences in educational institutions and organizations that serve middle school and high school students. The course requires 20 hours of field experience across the semester. Students enrolled in this course must have up-to-date child abuse, criminal and FBI clearances, as detailed under the Pennsylvania Child Protective Services Law.
ED 246 or ED 247 or ED 271 which may be taken concurrently.
