This Advanced Biotechnology course focuses on advanced knowledge and lab competencies that are critical to success in the biotechnology industry. Topics will focus on validation and calibration of biotechnology laboratory equipment, handling and manipulation of microbes required for use in the biotechnology laboratory and manipulation and characterization of nucleic acids and proteins, using sequencing and bioinformatics technologies.
