Thomas R. Scott Mathematics Award

This scholarship for study toward the baccalaureate is presented to a graduating student who has demonstrated outstanding competence in mathematics (including calculus) and high personal and academic standards. The Scholarship, endowed by his family, honors the memory of Thomas R. Scott, an associate professor of Mathematics, on faculty from 1965 until his death in 1981.

This scholarship commemorates long-time Mathematics department member James P. Diskin, whose passions were mathematics, baseball, and the success of his students.
