We are bringing career training and community building to the forefront of our neighborhoods through state-of-the-art facilities, support for local entrepreneurship, and hands-on learning experiences for fields that are in demand.

The programs at the Career and Advanced Technology Center focus on career readiness and creating a thriving workforce in our city’s transportation, manufacturing and health care fields. The Career and Advanced Technology Center delivers state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities, along with spaces and technology that are open for public use.

Manufacturing
Advanced Manufacturing invents, creates and repairs the products that we use daily. As new technologies continue to emerge, the industry is creating more jobs than there are skilled workers to fill them, and we’re here to provide you with the technical skills training that will prepare you for a career in advanced manufacturing. Our programs are taught by industry professionals designed to enable you to enter this high paying industry sector.
Health Care
More than 40% of Greater Philadelphia’s jobs are supported by eds and meds, making education and health attractive career paths. Get your foot in the door of the thriving health care industry with these entry-level training programs.
 
Innovation Hub
Innovation Hub
Community workspace labs will feature 3-D printing and other state-of-the-art tools, and the community room and patio will be open for community use. Power Up Your Business will utilize the space to offer tools to further innovation for local entrepreneurs. The Jr. STEM Academy's iSTEM program also operates within the Innovation Hub, offering innovative STEM outreach programs for middle and high school students including one-day, hands-on STEM exposure events, after-school programs, and summer camps.

Parking is available on the 4700 block of Ludlow Street, immediately behind the West Regional Center. Ludlow Street can be accessed from 48th street, between Market and Chestnut streets.
