Learn about faculty member, Stan Walling's recent discoveries about ancient Maya Kings, Queens, and every-day people, based on the use of hi-tech tools such as LIDAR, cloud scanning, ground-penetrating radar, and seismic sensing, in addition to traditional "dirt and bones" archaeology. Dr. Walling will discuss the state of current Maya archaeological research and how students from CCP and elsewhere, as well as volunteers from the public contribute to this fascinating field of research.
