Learn how you can save energy and cut costs on Monday at the Center for Business and Industry at 18th and Callowhill streets. Mat Himmelein, Southeastern Pennsylvania's Executive Committee member, BPI Certified Trainer and Director of Safety at the Philadelphia Energy Coordinating Agency (ECA), brings us a panel of experts from the ECA who will discuss the many ways we can retrofit our homes to save energy and money. They will bring samples of materials and explain what you need to know about insulation, windows, heating and cooling, roofs, basements and more. Bring your questions, we’ll have answers.
ECA's mission is to help people conserve energy and promote a sustainable and socially equitable energy future for all. ECA coordinates all low income energy services, administers high quality energy conservation, education, heating and home repair services to reduce households’ energy costs and stabilize families within their communities.
