Energy Conservation Academic Certificate

Our Energy Conservation academic certificate program will prepare you for careers in energy conservation and related fields. You will learn how to conduct performance audits of energy consumption in existing buildings, plan energy renovation projects, provide leadership in creating and maintaining a safe working environment, and organize and run an independent construction business. If you’re interested in developing a small independent energy conservation contracting business, you will also find this program useful toward achieving that goal. Courses within this program utilize the latest industry-standard scientific methods, instruments and software for determining the energy consumption profile for buildings.

General Education Requirements:

All general education requirements necessary for graduation are met through the courses in the program as indicated above. Students who wish to take courses that differ from the general education courses indicated above must complete a course substitution request form. To access the form, login to the MyCCP portal, and in the Student tab, under Electronic Forms, click on the Records and Registration Forms link, then choose Request For Course Substitution Of Graduation Requirement link.
