The Fox Rothschild Center for Law and Society will host the 24th annual event, focused on the theme The Voice of Justice: Bringing Down Barriers and Building Bridges to Equality
PHILADELPHIA – Keir Bradford-Grey, Esq., partner in Montgomery McCracken’s Litigation department and former Chief Defender of the Defender Association of Philadelphia, will deliver remarks to begin Community College of Philadelphia’s Law and Society Week on Feb. 27 at 9:40 a.m. in the Center for Business and Industry, 1751 Callowhill Street.
The week’s sessions will highlight various barriers existing within the justice system and the community, and give attendees an opportunity to heal from the trauma of injustice and help create positive change moving forward.
“Each year, Law and Society events engage our community in discussions about current and important legal topics that impact our society. We strive to further educate participants, create awareness and inspire change,” said Dr. Donald Guy Generals, president of Community College of Philadelphia.
Law and Society Week is supported by the Community College of Philadelphia Foundation. Sessions are free and open to the public. A full schedule can be found online.
