Community College of Philadelphia to Kick Off 2021 April is Art Student Showcase, Exhibit

The exhibit features student work from spring 2020, fall 2020 and spring 2021 

PHILADELPHIA – Community College of Philadelphia announced that it will host an opening reception to kick off its 2021 April is Art initiative at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 1. The annual event is a showcase of student art and this year’s exhibit will run virtually from April 1 to May 31. The 2021 exhibit will feature student work from spring 2020, fall 2020 and spring 2021. 

During the opening reception, attendees will have the opportunity to preview the gallery, hear from College faculty and staff within the art department, participate in a virtual guided tour of the gallery, and speak directly with student artists in smaller breakout rooms. 

This virtual reception is free and open to the public. More information on April is Art, including a gallery of student posters designed to promote the event, can be found online.
