The event will pay tribute to Philadelphians who lost their lives on 9/11
PHILADELPHIA – Community College of Philadelphia announced that it will host a Patriot Day event to commemorate Philadelphians who lost their lives during the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. The event will take place at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 9 at the Bonnell Circle, outside of the Bonnell building on 17th Street between Spring Garden and Callowhill streets.
Remarks will be provided by College President Dr. Donald “Guy” Generals; College Veterans Resource Coordinator Steve Bachovin; Sgt. Maj. of the Army Lawrence Williams; and Philadelphia Police Officer Ed Savage. Attendees will also participate in a moment of silence.
