PHILADELPHIA – Community College of Philadelphia announced that it will host a celebratory Eagles tailgate today at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 8, in the Bonnell Building Lobby on 17th Street between Spring Garden and Callowhill streets. CBS Philadelphia anchor Ukee Washington will serve as the event emcee. The event will also feature performances by the Philadelphia Eagles Pep Band.
Favorite Philly foods, music and games will be featured at the party for students, faculty, and staff. Prizes, including Eagles jerseys, will be awarded during a trivia contest, raffle, and fashion show highlighting the best pre-game outfits.
The event is also part of a social media challenge between the College and Metropolitan Community College in Kansas City to see who has the most school and football spirit.
