The Office of Institutional Research (OIR) publishes several reports and In-Briefs every year. These reports focus on institutionally relevant topics identified in the College's Mission Statement and Planning documents.

The OIR conducts an annual survey of CCP's most recent graduates. The survey, which is typically undertaken eight to nine months after commencement, gathers information concerning the graduate's transfer and employment activities since leaving the College and their assessment of the preparation they received to undertake these activities. In recent years, approximately one-third of graduates have returned usable questionnaires.

The OIR also periodically conducts surveys of CCP's former students. The survey, which typically includes students who have earned at least 12 CCP credits and have not reenrolled in a year, gathers information concerning the former students' transfer and employment activities since leaving the College, their assessment of the preparation they received to undertake these activities, and their reasons for not persisting to graduation at CCP.
