Mission:

The Office of Institutional Research supports internal assessment efforts by contributing useful and accessible information and analyses related to the College’s effectiveness in achieving its Mission and Institutional Goals. The Office also supports externally driven accountability/assessment initiatives mandated by various levels of government agencies, other funding sources, and accrediting agencies.

Goals:

• Maintain an Assessment Plan that facilitates the integration of assessment, planning, and institutional effectiveness and continuous improvement related to academic programs and administrative services.
• Provide consistent, reliable and timely assessment information for planning, decision making, and continuous improvement efforts. 
• Maintain an up-to-date Institutional Research website that provides institutional decision makers with easy access to assessment information.
• Continue to identify and refine research methodologies and technological applications to improve the quality and availability of assessment information. 
• Provide technical assistance to academic and administrative departments in their planning and assessment initiatives.
• Anticipate future assessment information needs of the College.
• Provide consistent, reliable and timely information for mandatory accountability external reporting.
