Oral Histology Images There are 429 photomicrographs of histologic sections in this site. Source of Images - In the 1970's, Dr. Arnold Tiber photographed histologic sections from USC files. He arranged for the photographs to be copied as filmstrips. Tiber also wrote descriptions for each photograph; he created a printed syllabus to accompany the filmstrips. Over the years, the syllabi and filmstrips deteriorated; Dr. William Crawford, a colleague of Tiber, digitized Dr. Tiber's original photomicrographs and descriptions and arranged these materials into this site.
