Admission Procedure for Transfer Students

Students transferring to Community College of Philadelphia from another college must follow the procedure for admission. In addition, they must request that all post-secondary institutions previously attended send transcripts of their academic records to the Office of Student Records and Registration (BG-3). Students are also required to submit a Transcript Evaluation Request Form to the Office of Student Records and Registration.

  • Placement testing may be waived on the basis of these transcripts.
  • Students are responsible for having their transfer credits evaluated prior to registration to avoid duplication of course work.
  • Download the Transcript Evaluation Request Form (76kb PDF file)
