Financial Aid Eligibility
Students pursuing an associate's degree or certificate may apply for
financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid
(FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
If you are permitted to take a study-for-credit course as an audited
course (no credit), no aid will be awarded for that course.
Transfer Students
When you transfer from one school to another, your financial aid does
not automatically transfer to your new institution. You must add Community
College of Philadelphia to your FAFSA by contacting the Federal Student
Aid Information Center at 800-443-3243, or you may go online at www.fafsa.ed.gov,
apply for a PIN and complete the change.
Guest Students
Guest students are students pursuing a degree at another college (home
school) but are taking a few classes at Community College of Philadelphia
(host school). Guest students are not eligible to receive financial aid
from Community College of Philadelphia. Guest students should contact
their home school Office of Financial Aid to inquire about consortium
agreements.
Please note: Guest students are responsible for paying tuition charges
at Community College of Philadelphia by payment match date. A processed
consortium agreement does not constitute payment.
