Admission Process

Admission into the College is easy, and we are here to guide you every step of the way. We accept students on an open enrollment basis, meaning that applications are accepted at all times of the year. Whether you are enrolled full-time or part-time, you have a variety of options to fit your busy schedule. We offer daytime and evening classes, as well as distance education courses. Our multiple locations - the Main Campus, three Regional Centers and neighborhood sites - create the access and convenience you need.

We serve the needs of several different types of students at the College. In order to fill out the correct application, you need to determine what type of student you are. The categories below pertain to individuals taking credit courses, or courses that count toward a degree or certificate. You may take credit courses even if you do not intend to earn a degree or certificate from the College.

(interested in degree or certificate programs or starting at Community College of Philadelphia and transferring to a four-year institution upon completion of your associate's degree)

Current High School Student
(interested in special programs offered to high school students for college credit)

International Student
(full-time degree students in possession of or seeking F-1 visa status to study in the USA)

Readmitting to the College
(You have not taken credit courses at Community College of Philadelphia for two years)

Transfer Student
(Enrolling at Community College of Philadelphia from another educational institution)

Visiting/Summer Student
(Taking credit course(s); not intending to earn a degree or certificate from Community College of Philadelphia)
