Resizing an EPS Logo File in a Word Document

The reason to use an EPS format for the College logo file is that it can be resized without degrading the image. Other binary file formats, such as TIFF, GIF, JPEG, PNG etc., should not have their original sizing altered.

Step 3: While holding down the shift key drag the curser by moving the mouse to the left, if you want to reduce the size of the logo, or to the right if you wish to increase the size of the logo. Holding the shift key down maintains the proper proportional relationship between the horizontal and vertical sides of the logo. The above sample shows a reduced size logo.
