Math and Science Education Examined at Public Hearing
George E. Davis welcomes lawmakers holding hearings of the state House Education Committee on Math and Science Education at the College.
S tate Rep. James R. Roebuck, Jr., chair of the State House of Representatives’ Education Committee and member of the College’s Board of Trustees, held a public hearing at the College on April 15 to examine what can be done to improve and accelerate science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education for Philadelphia children and youth. George E. Davis, chair of the College’s Board of Trustees, welcomed the committee members. College Trustee Jeremiah J. White, Jr. also spoke.
