Community College of Philadelphia – 24th Annual International Festival
“We the People: The Challenge of a Changing World,” March 31-April 3

PHILADELPHIA, March 31, 2008 – Community College of Philadelphia presents the
24th Annual International Festival – “We the People: The Challenge of a Changing World”
March 31-April 3. The festival is a lively and informative series of international lectures, films, demonstrations and musical performances

All events are free and open to the public. Building locations are at the bottom of this release.

This year’s highlights included a keynote address from Chris Satullo, former editorial page editor of The Philadelphia Inquirer, at 10:10 a.m., Monday, March 31 in the Bonnell Building’s Small Auditorium on 17th Street, between Spring Garden and Callowhill streets. There will also be a keynote address from Daravann Yi, a Community College of Philadelphia counselor and the founder and president of Salt Seeker Foundation, Inc., which is dedicated to helping Cambodian orphans. Yi will speak at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, April 3 in the Bonnell Building and at 6:30 p.m., April 3 at the Northeast Regional Center, 12901 Townsend Road.

Building Guide

CBI = Center for Business and Industry located at 18th and Callowhill Streets.

Bonnell Auditorium - is located in the Bonnell Building, which is on the east side of 17th
Street, south of Spring Garden Street. The building is set back from the sidewalk by a
stairway.

NWRC = North West Regional Center, which is located at 1300 West Godfrey Avenue at
the corner of Broad Street and Godfrey Avenue. Signs at the Center will indicate the room.

NERC = Northeast Regional Center, which is located at 12901 Townsend Road. Signs
at the Center will indicate the room.
