COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF PHILADELPHIA OFFERS AN EDUCATIONAL GIFT FOR THE HOLIDAYS

PHILADELPHIA, November 27, 2006 - Community College of Philadelphia, The Path to PossibilitiesT for thousands of city residents each year, is offering a novel gift idea, just in time for the holiday season.

For the first time in its 42-year history, the College is selling gift certificates in an amount chosen by the purchaser that will be valid toward the payment of tuition and fees at Community College of Philadelphia. "What better gift to give during the holidays than the gift of education, a gift that can change a life and last a lifetime," said Stephen M. Curtis, president of Community College of Philadelphia.

Gift certificates can be purchased by calling 215-751-8104 or by stopping by the Cashier's Office, ground floor, Room 2, at the Bonnell Building on 17th Street between Spring Garden and Callowhill streets. Cash, credit cards and money orders will be accepted. Gift certificates purchased by phone will be sent via certified mail and will include a return receipt.
