Community College of Philadelphia Celebrates Annual Martin Luther King Day of Service with On-Campus Events

Community College of Philadelphia will host its Third Annual Martin Luther King Day of Service on Monday, January 19. A series of events and workshops for adults and children will take place between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in the College's Winnet Building. The College is partnering with Philadelphia Reads to conduct free literacy tutor training for approximately 150 College students and members of the community. The College will also conduct a free skill-building workshop for up to 25 parents to guide them in encouraging their children to read.
