New Administrator Joins Office of Student Affairs at Community College of Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA, October 15, 2003 - Community College of Philadelphia has appointed Pamela Gallimore as assistant to the vice president of student affairs. She brings more than 20 years of experience in higher education administration from several Pennsylvania colleges and universities. In her new position, Gallimore will primarily be involved with enrollment management and administrative oversight.

Prior to her current position the College, Gallimore spent five years as director of the bureau of post-secondary services for the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

"I wanted to return to a college campus and work in a capacity that involved students rather than policy issues," she said.

Her additional experience in higher education includes roles as assistant director of admissions for Temple University and associate registrar for West Chester University.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Howard University and resides in West Chester, Pennsylvania, with her son. vative partnership.
