Exhibition Of Breast Cancer Survivor Photographs At Community College Of Philadelphia
Community College of Philadelphia presents "67 Women, 67 Counties: Facing Breast Cancer in Pennsylvania," a photographic exhibit of women from around Pennsylvania who have tackled and survived breast cancer. The exhibit encourages awareness of the deadly disease, and to promote early detection practices to women in Pennsylvania. One breast cancer survivor from each of the state's 67 counties was chosen to be photographed and tell their story in writing. The photographic display will feature an opening reception with speakers from around the city and state on February 20 at 3:30 p.m. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
