Student Support Services

Community College of Philadelphia offers students the services they need in order to make their educational experience successful:

Academic Advising
Academic Advising is provided to students in all programs of study at the College. The advisor assists students in integrating academic pursuits with individual needs and abilities, as well as personal and vocational goals.

Library Online
To do online research go to College Library database which can now be accessed through MyCCP. For more information please call library at 215-751-8394.

Learning Labs
The Learning Labs have specialists in reading, study skills, English as a Second Language, writing, mathematics, science and learning disabilities. Additional services include Math, English and English as a Second Language workshops, Biology and Chemistry study groups and small group tutoring.

Center on Disability
The Center on Disability provides services that are intended to assist students in achieving maximum independence while at the College. Students with disabilities are encouraged to visit the Center in the Mint Building (Room M1-22) or call the center at 215-751-8050.

Free College Email

Each student registered at Community College of Philadelphia receives a free MyCCP email account. If you have problems logging on to your MyCCP account, please call 215-496-6000.

Counseling Center
Community College of Philadelphia offers free comprehensive counseling services to all its students. The Counseling Center is staffed by professional counselors. Educational, career and personal are available to both individual and groups. Counseling Center is located in the West building (Room W2-2) or you can call at 215-751-8169.
