Doris Weiss Memorial Scholarship for Art Majors
Doris Weiss began taking classes at the College in 1987. As a senior citizen she brought with her an extensive background in the arts and was a wonderful addition to the Art department's classes, as well as an inspiration for the students. Her focus at the College was in painting and ceramics. Upon her death in January 1993, a memorial exhibition of her many art works was held at the College. Her children presented the College with a grant from her estate in order to set up a scholarship in her name for art students.

    Eligibility Criteria
