
Request My Academic Transcript
This page is designed to provide information to students and alumni on how you may order a Community College of Philadelphia academic transcript. To accommodate your busy schedule, the College provides three different ways to order your transcript. These include:- Via the Internet
- By mail or fax
- In-person service at the Spring Garden Street Campus
When requesting a transcript, be prepared to provide the following information:
- Social Security Number
- The complete address to which each transcript is to be mailed
- Payment Method (have credit card handy)
Summer Hours
Community College of Philadelphia will operate on summer hours from May 5, 2008 through August 16, 2008. The Records Counter summer hours are as follows:
Monday - Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.
Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
The College will be closed on Fridays and Saturdays. Overnight orders received at the counter after 3:00 pm on Thursday will be processed on the following Monday.
INTERNET SERVICE

This service is available 24/7 and is provided by National Student Clearinghouse over a secured Internet site on behalf of Community College of Philadelphia. You will need to have a valid major credit card to complete the transaction. For normal mail service, the cost is $3.00 per transcript plus a $2.25 per transcript processing fee. Rush delivery processing (3 business days) via Overnight will cost $10.00 per transcript plus an additional charge of $16.50. Your credit card will only be charged after your order is completed.
BY MAIL OR FAX
Fax requests may be sent to 215-751-8001. Send a written request to: Community College of Philadelphia/Office of Student Records and Registration/ATTN.: Transcript Request/1700 Spring Garden Street/Philadelphia, PA 19130.
The standard transcript fee for normal mail service is $3.00 per transcript. For rush service options, which include same day regular US mail service, fax service, or pick-up, the fee is $10.00 per transcript. A written or fax request should include the following details:
- Name (also list any former names used at the College)
- Current Address
- Social Security Number or Student ID
- Number of copies of which type (Official or Unofficial)
- When should transcript be processed? If applicable, select one of these responses: (a) Now, although some grades may be missing; (b) Hold for current term grades indicating term/year; (c) Hold for change of grade; and (d) Hold for degree
- Complete name and address where each transcript is to sent
- Signature (required; an unsigned request will not be processed)
- Daytime phone number where you can be reached if the Office has any questions regarding your request
- Payment can be made by check, money order, or credit card (MasterCard, VISA, or Discover only). If paying by credit card include account number and expiration date. Do not send cash. A fax request must include a credit card number to be processed.
IN-PERSON SERVICE
Transcript orders may be placed at any Enrollment Services Counter. Enrollment Service Counters are located at the Spring Garden Street Campus (1700 Spring Garden Street, Bonnell Building, Ground Floor, Room BG-5), Northeast Regional Center (12901 Townsend Road), Northwest Regional Center (1300 West Godfrey Avenue), and West Regional Center (4725 Chestnut Street).
Transcripts may be printed on demand at the Spring Garden Street Campus only. Picture identification is required. On demand requests are made available on each hour. That is, if you place a request at 10:00 a.m., you can expect that your transcript will be ready for pick up at 11:00 a.m. On demand requests must be placed by 3:00 p.m. for same day pick-up. Transcripts on demand for pick-up will be mailed if not picked up within two weeks. The cost is $10.00 per transcript.
OTHER INFORMATION
- There is no fee for a transcript of non-credit course work.
- There is no fee for a Pennsylvania Uniform Real Estate Transcript.
- An "unofficial" transcript is one that does bear the signature of the Director of Student Records and Registration (institution's certifying official) and the College Seal. It is identified as a "Student Copy."
- The Office of Student Records and Registration will notify requestors via email or by letter if an order cannot be processed because of an institutional hold.
- Official transcripts bearing the College seal will be mailed directly to the educational institution or other official agency you request.
- For normal mail service, transcript requests received by fax, mail or the Internet are processed within 7 to 10 business days from receipt (unless the requestor is having the transcript held for final grades or degree posting). If you need to have a request expedited, please call (215) 751-8260 for delivery options and additional fees.
