Community College of Philadelphia

Request Certification for Enrollment Verification

A certification is an official statement of a student's enrollment record.

A Community College of Philadelphia certification contains a student's enrollment as well as degree conferral information as it pertains to coursework completed at Community College of Philadelphia.

Student Records and Registration can provide entire history, partial history, or current term enrollment information. All certifications are official and bear the College's seal and the signature of the Director of Student Records and Registration.

To obtain a copy of your enrollment history or verification of your current enrollment, you may submit your request in person at the Enrollment Services Counter at the Main Campus, at any of the regional centers, by mail, or by fax (215-751-8001).

Student Records and Registration also provides a Veteran's certification (Veterans Benefits Registration) for students who need verification for veteran's benefits.

Student Records and Registration can certify only for current or past terms and not for future terms. A certification will contain the following information:

  • Name
  • Social security number
  • Anticipated graduation date
  • Program of study
  • Undergraduate classification
  • Enrollment status (i.e., a full/part time student based on semester credits)
  • Number of credits, course title and credit total

In the case of students who have graduated from the College, the certification will provide the date of graduation, the degree conferred, and, if requested, enrollment history. A certification does NOT provide information about individual course grades or Grade Point Average (See Transcript Information).

Generally, it takes 5-7 working days to process a certification, which can be mailed or picked-up.
