Job Analysis
Corporate Solutions offer three different job analysis options to assist you with personnel selection, performance management and training decisions: Job Profiling, SkillMap and WorkKeys Estimator.

Job Profiling
With ACT's job profiling process, an ACT-trained facilitator works collaboratively with groups of your employees to complete each job analysis. Job incumbents serve as the subject matter experts who define the tasks and skills needed to successfully perform a specific job.

Job profiling consists of a task analysis to select the tasks most critical to a job and skill analysis to identify the skills and skill levels required to enter the job and effectively perform the job. By matching the job profile information with individual scores on the WorkKeys assessments, you can make reliable decisions about hiring, training and program development needs.

Job profiling provides these benefits:
  • Supports hiring, promotion and training decisions
  • Uses focus groups and ACT-trained facilitators
  • Offers a proven methodology and reliable results
  • Uses ACT's SkillPro® software
  • Meets requirements adopted by the EEOC
SkillMap
This online program features an easy-to-follow format with step-by-step instructions and online support through tutorials, a user guide and an indexed help system. Employees are able to participate at a time that best fits their schedule, without leaving their work place. This program identifies tasks most important to job performance and is able to help employers get the right individual for the job. SkillMap will help you decrease turnover and improve hiring decisions.

WorkKeys Estimator
Especially useful for smaller businesses, WorkKeys Estimator is a quick and easy to use tool that will help you identify skill levels needed for specific jobs. Assessment tests are in a paper-and-pencil format, and the results can be used to develop recruiting and training plans.
These methods involve varying degrees of complexity, flexibility and cost. We can help you choose the approach that works best for your HR practices and business needs.
