Annual Fund
Gifts to the Annual Fund support the College by providing funds in the areas of greatest need. Annual fund gifts can be designated for student scholarships, equipment, faculty development, and library resources. Click here to give a gift on-line.
Scholarships
Invest in the future - establish a scholarship fund! Individuals, corporations, and organizations are invited to make a contribution to an existing scholarship fund or to establish a new scholarship fund. In the case of new scholarship funds, the donor determines the purpose and has the option to name the scholarship. For example, memorial scholarships keep the memories of our loved ones alive by creating a scholarship in their name. Typically, memorial scholarships honor the individual by providing scholarships for students in curricular areas that were of interest to the deceased. Donors can make a commitment to support the scholarship on an annual basis.
Endowments
An endowment gift establishes a permanent fund that provides annual income for a specific program, scholarship or purpose. A minimum donation of $10,000 is required to establish an endowment fund.
Special Designated Gifts
The special designated gift category allows donors to make a memorial gift, which is made in honor of someone who has died; a tribute gift, which is made in honor of someone living, to recognize an anniversary or other special occasion. Click here to designate a gift online.
Planned Gifts
Planned giving is a technique that maximizes the personal benefits of your charitable giving, and allows you to make gifts you might have thought impossible. Careful planning will make possible the reduction or elimination of income taxes (including capital gain) and transfer taxes (including gift, estate, and inheritance). Planned Giving will benefit Community College of Philadelphia students, while enhancing your financial plans and security. Click here for more information about the types of planned gifts.
For personal assistance on any planned gift, please contact Susan Piergallini in the Office of Institutional Advancement at spiergallini@ccp.edu or 215.751.8205.
The Foundation is able to accept gifts of Cash, Securities, Tangible Personal Property, and Real Estate. Click here to view the Community College of Philadelphia Foundation's Gift Acceptance Policies and Procedures.
