Gift Categories

Pride Fund
Gifts to the Pride Fund support the College by providing funds in the areas of greatest need. Pride Fund gifts can be designated for student scholarships, equipment, faculty development, library resources and more. Click here.

Student Giving
Gifts made to the Student Giving Campaign provide scholarship support, resources for the emergency book fund and financial support for other important projects at the College. Students are encouraged to give back to show their pride in and support of the College. Click here.

Scholarships
Individuals, corporations and organizations may make a contribution to an existing scholarship fund or to establish a new scholarship fund. In the case of new scholarship funds, the donor determines the purpose and has the option to name the scholarship.

Endowments
An endowment gift establishes a permanent fund that provides annual income for a specific program, scholarship or purpose. A minimum donation of $10,000 is required to establish an endowment fund.

Special Designated Gifts
Special designated gifts include memorial gifts, which are made in honor of someone who has died, and gifts which are made in honor of someone living or to recognize a special occasion.

Planned Gifts
Planned Giving refers to ways to include a charitable gift to Community College of Philadelphia in your will. It also describes a way to invest money so that you receive income during your lifetime and then bestow the remaining funds to the College. Careful planning will make possible the reduction of income taxes. Click here
