Marketing - Certificate

The certificate in Marketing curriculum concentrates on the study of marketing strategies and techniques through an association of courses designed to provide the student with a strong marketing foundation over the shortest period of time.?Students who complete this course of study will meet the entry-level requirements for positions in most businesses, including sales, advertising, sales promotion and positions in advertising departments and agencies.?The curriculum is also designed to assist students already employed in these or related career areas who elect to gain a greater insight into the marketing career area.

Program Entry Requirements:
This program is open to all interested students. However, all new students are normally required to take the College’s placement tests at their time of entry.

Students who are identified as needing developmental course work must satisfactorily complete the appropriate English and mathematics courses as a part of their program.

Program of Study and Graduation Requirements:
To qualify for a certificate in Marketing, a student must successfully complete a minimum of 34 credits as prescribed and attain a grade point average of 2.0 (“C” average).
