Introduction to export and import procedures, international trade terms and applications, government regulations affecting trade, international commercial banking facilities and practices, commer-cial credit and practices, foreign trade documentation and export/import traffic and forwarding. International trade terms, international commercial banking and freight forwarding. Prerequisite: MNGT 121 or equivalent.
IB 211 Foreign Trade
Documentation I 3-0-3
Shipping, freight forwarding, insurance and government-required documentation for expediting and completing inter-national trade transactions. Procedures and mechanics of documentation. Applied exercises. Prerequisite: MNGT 152 or Department Head approval, ACCT 101.
IB 225 International Marketing
Information and Application 3-0-3
The economic environment of inter-national marketing, economic develop-ment and world markets, organization and planning in international marketing and international management. Cultural, political and legal environment. International marketing technology, complemented with practical exercises and current applied techniques. Prerequisites: GEOG 103, MKTG 131, IB 101.
