American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) AACRAO is a nonprofit, voluntary, professional association of more than 10,000 higher education admissions and registration professionals who represent approximately 2,500 institutions in more than 30 countries. The mission of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) is to provide professional development, guidelines and voluntary standards to be used by higher education officials regarding the best practices in records management, admissions, enrollment management, administrative information technology and student services. It also provides a forum for discussion regarding policy initiation and development, interpretation and implementation at the institutional level and in the global educational community.
MSACROA is the oldest of the regional groups of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO). Our web site contains material of interest to MSACROA members as well as other AACRAO members and anyone else involved in higher education administration.
The ACAP is the fastest growing association in Higher Education today. Since its founding in February of 1995, a total of 3,000 college administrators have signed up as members. The majority of ACAP's college administration members are the vice presidents of business, student services, or academic affairs. Othe large numbers of members are controllers, directors of housing, physical plant, human resources, student activities, admissions, financial aid, security and safety, purchasing, college unions, food services, bookstores, auxillary services, and many other college operations.
