Community College of Philadelphia is participating in the annual Innovation of the Year Award sponsored by the League for Innovation in the Community College. This program provides an opportunity to showcase innovation at League colleges, like CCP, and recognize the individuals who fostered the innovation. Award-winning innovations are recognized on the League for Innovation in the Community College website.
Each College identifies one outstanding innovation that is noteworthy in any of the following categories:
1. workforce preparation & development
2. learning & teaching
3. student services and activities
4. research assessment and accountability
5. resource development
6. basic skills and developmental education
7. leadership and organization
If you are interested in nominating an innovation at Community College of Philadelphia, please print out and complete the Nomination Form which can be found by Clicking Here. The deadline for receipt of nominations is 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday December 16th, 2009. All nominations should be sent to:

The winning innovation will be identified by mid-March and the innovator(s) will be recognized during an Honors Tea in April. A plaque commemorating winning innovations will be hung outside the Rotunda. Last year's winner was Advanced Tech at College.
