Millersville University Transfer Programs

The Pennsylvania Statewide Transfer System is dedicated to the seamless transfer of courses within a 30-credit framework. The system has been expanded to require participating institutions to accept the transfer of Associate of Arts (AA) and Associate of Science (AS) degrees into parallel baccalaureate programs with full junior standing, recognizing all the competencies attained within the associate’s degree programs.

Students are encouraged to visit www.pacollegetransfer.net to explore transfer opportunities with institutions that participate in the Statewide Transfer System and to view Community College of Philadelphia courses that are part of the 30 credit framework mentioned above. Courses from the 30 credit framework are recommended to be integrated into a student's degree program at Community College of Philadelphia.
The Academic Passport, a policy of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE), guarantees admission to any of the 14 PASSHE universities to a student with an earned AA or AS degree from a Pennsylvania public community college. A university can stipulate that the associate’s degree contain at least 30 credits of liberal arts courses. The Academic Passport does not guarantee admission to specific majors.
