Located right off of Broad Street (PA-611), the Northwest Regional Center (NWRC) is a convenient hop off the SEPTA from Fern Rock Transportation Center. The center has over 30 classrooms, a bookstore, learning commons that includes a computer lab, and a group study room and a dining area.
Programs Offered at NWRC
Ophthalmic Technician Proficiency Certificate
The NWRC is the exclusive home to the College’s Ophthalmic Technician Proficiency Certificate for those students looking to work in optometry and ophthalmology patient care settings.
In addition, the NWRC offers the following programs entirely on-site:
- Behavioral Health and Human Services, for those students interested in studying human behavior and development within the context of psychological, social and biophysical environments.

- Business - Accelerated, for motivated students who want to learn what it takes to be an effective member of the business community and prepare to transfer to a four-year business school, in just 21 months.
