Health Services Management

Evolve, Innovate and Regulate

Our Health Services Management program will teach you how to plan, direct, coordinate and supervise the delivery of health care. You will learn about evolving health care systems, technological innovations and today’s regulatory environment. As our program prepares you to transfer to a four-year college, you will develop administrative, technical, problem-solving and human relations skills, and prepare to become an effective health care manager. Part of your focus during the program will be investigating the social, political, economic and financial issues that affect health care. This cross-section of focal points will teach you to differentiate between payment systems, prepare and manage budgets, conduct financial analyses, develop coding and reimbursement policies, and define the major types of health care reimbursement methods.
