Computer-Assisted Design Technology

The Art of Design in the 21st Century

Our Computer-Assisted Design (CAD) Technology program will teach you how digital design skills can be applied to fields like architecture, interior design or construction management. You will learn how to prepare sophisticated computer drawings; perform document management, scanning, printing and plotting; gain practical knowledge of building materials and construction processes; and receive guidance in showcasing your abilities with portfolios and web sites. As you progress through the program, you will learn alongside your Construction Management, Facility Management, Interior Design and Architecture counterparts, which will enhance your learning experience. Upon completing the program, you will have prepared a project package that includes two- and three-dimensional drawings, websites for posting the documents, and written documents that explain the concept or project. The College also offers an academic certificate in CAD Technology for interested students.
