Energy Conservation Academic Certificate
Our Energy Conservation academic certificate program will prepare you for careers in energy conservation and related fields. You will learn how to conduct performance audits of energy consumption in existing buildings, plan energy renovation projects, provide leadership in creating and maintaining a safe working environment, and organize and run an independent construction business. If you’re interested in developing a small independent energy conservation contracting business, you will also find this program useful toward achieving that goal. Courses within this program utilize the latest industry-standard scientific methods, instruments and software for determining the energy consumption profile for buildings.
Upon receiving your academic certificate, you may enter the workforce or your courses may be applied to the Building Science associate's degree program at the College, as well as transfer to a four-year college.
